Catfish Moon
by Laddy Sartin
Southern playwright and University of Southern Mississippi graduate,
Laddy Sartin has crafted a witty and poignant work of art that flows
between graceful subtlety and outright lunacy. The play is a hilarious
look at fishing, beer and the meaning of life, particularly as it pertains
to aging and friendship.
Plot:
Curley, Gordon and Frog have been best friends since high school;
skipping school, skinny dipping and drinking beer at the old fishing
pier out on Cypress Lake. Betty is Curley's sister and ex-wife of Frog,
who likes to bowl with Gordon…and that's not all! Time has marched
on since high school, but on the pier the weight of adulthood is lifted
by laughter, fishing and friendship.
Cast:
Bob Dorsey (Curley)
Daniel Kemp (Gordon)
Dave Deane (Frog)

writing as sweet as it comes." - Charlotte Observer
